![]() If you at least want to still remain on friendly terms with the commune, you can, even after the doublecross.Īfter the doublecross, You must allow the Synths to escape. If you dont come back they get wiped out.Īs a separate note here. When all is said and done with the doublecross and you have cleared out the last Godfisher encampment as a favor to the GodFshers, on your way out you get a distress call from the Gippers. There is a massive Godfisher fight just before finally leaving the Gippers. When you call in to HQ to have Val arrested, you say something along the lines of "We have them where we want them" which is the nod to you that you have leverage now and\ will get oil. Jamobory is upper left quadrant of the map, on the way to DOE or Aspen Originally posted by Sabi The Worst Player Ever: You could get to Valor via skillchecks and evidence to expose sinister motives of Mother Nancy, you could even have sinister choice of capturing one of those crazy glider people, maybe the very same that got released in first cutscene, and use her as vessel since it doesn't matter which mind gets erased.īut instead devs force you to pick between bad and worse, while logical alternatives exist there already. You could use skillchecks to convince them to accept sending Regan into your HQ hardware for preservation, you could have complete other solution involving improving their existing infrastructure or finding new one, you could have hard to perform but doable cooperation between Commune and Gippers, lastly machines could provide oil for you - because why they couldn't they? It doesn't make sense. There are other logical solutions that could be implemented in game instead. Secondly, those choices are forced, simply put. I have enough of bad stuff IRL, you know? That's why I love this game.Įxcept that Im not "playing" life, Im playing video game. I must have stared at the screen for 10 minutes before making my decision. Your current example of choices I had to make yesterday. That game is a fraud.Īfter all, what is life but a series of fateful decisions. It's better than playing that wanna-be RPG, Cyberpunk, where none of your decisions mean anything. I love the decisions that we have to make in this game. ![]() Funny enough, biggest problem was keeping Nancy alive due to Gipper trigger-happy approach and friendly fire active due to difficulty setting. GodFishers fight happes as separate quest, I already did that before even traveling to commune. I had already very high reputation among them so they were not hostile. Double cross solution does provide oil, however? When I tried that, Mother Nancy was angry but never mentioned anything about oil supply. It's not like I have to solve it right now, there is no time limit. ![]() I have to yet come into that Jambory character then. Make sure you have the necessary pre req skills checks.Ībsolutly make sure you finish trading with both before you doublecross, otherwise you will not be able to afterwards. Important since you will be fighting GodFishers together right outside after the doublecross event. You'll get a mission to improve the robots output of laserbeam. Talk to Val before talking to Sister Nancy Whatsherface in the same room. There is only one choice that keeps both alive, albeit angry at you. Side with the Gippers and put Reagan into Val and Val turns into a meglomaniac and kills the commune and tries to take over colorado. You then have to side with the Cannibal Jambory and invite them to go take over oil production. If you transfer the AI to the commune then the robot commune takes over and goes after the Gippers. Game seems to be much less polished than previous one. I guess I would need to edit save anyway since I don't have maximum reputation with Marshalls and seems like all options to increase it are gone now (and I was nice to them, honestly - arrested Brygo, yet locked him in my own HQ as well as that Scottish mechanic, sent them those kids from Garden instead, got point or two during Patriarch initial dialogue.). i am missing something? Or AI at HQ also guarantee oil supply? Are there any other options? Seems like the only option to have oil is to kill poor Valor. From what I see, I have basically three options, based on what I saw during the quest and loading save:ġ) I agree to basically kill poor nerdy guy (who honestly just wanted to impress his family, nothing wrong with that), Gippers are happy and provide oil once again, machines hate me nowĢ) I transfer AI to machines instead, Gippers are hostile, no oilģ) Transfer AI to my own HQ instead, everyone is angry, no idea what happens next Whatever, at least makes guide reading justified. Normally, I would do just what I think is right aka send AI to robots commune but devs decided to force player to do bad things for good ending (same as with refugees). Just to sum up few facts, since I don't want to lock myself out of good ending.
